Using CONTEXTS is possible to build rich web applications that integrate the information retrieved from several biological resources.

CONTEXTS components

CONTEXTS components are small widgets providing annotations about different biological entities and processes. Some components can be simply used embedding a small code snippet in any web page. CONTEXTS components are interconnected through different elements. Components are classicaly linked by database identifiers but also full text descriptions, genome and protein positions can also be used as linkers. Combining several components it’s possible to create complete tools to retrieve and analyze biological information.
